Women’s Day ’22 at Alice Art Gallery

The Alice Art Gallery in Ruimsig will be the venue for a Women’s Day event on Saturday, August 27. This event is sponsored by the Department of Justice and will be a gathering of women who will discuss various topics.It is being organised by Cutter Solutions.

Gender-based violence, legislation pertaining to women and various other topics will be raised during a question and answer session. Bongi Buthelezi will be hosting the event, which will take place from 12:30 to 15:00.

Franscesca Fondse, the founder of WIIN (Women Integral Impact Network) will discuss the amendments to the three bills that deal with gender-based violence. She will also speak on women’s personal values and personal wellness, and she is going to answer questions.

“From last year’s event [Women’s day] we are escalating. This year we have sponsors from Department of Justice, as well as special vouchers from A Perfect Step Out Skin & Beauty salon to pamper our beautiful women who will be attending. We are hoping to get more women to come on board,” explained Buthelezi.

The tickets for the event are R220 including lunch, and no bookings will be accepted on the day of the event. Bookings can be made by emailing Keratile@gmail.com.
