Florida North Bowling Club hosts a Perfectly Pink Ladies Day

On Thursday, May 26 Florida North Bowling Club hosted their Perfectly Pink Ladies Day event and invited several Sables Bowling Association affiliates to participate.

The event saw 24 teams from eight different clubs competing. The women were served breakfast and lunch, and each one received a gift packet.

According to the organisers the event was very successful as every team turned out in their perfectly pink attire to complete the theme of the day.

Teams from the Florida North, Krugersdorp, Honeydew, Witpoortjie, Linden, Randburg, Randfontein and Discovery Bowling Club took part at the event.

These clubs form part of the Sables Bowling Association comprising mostly bowling clubs on the West Rand and as far as Rustenburg.

Every club has the opportunity to host a ladies day once a year by booking a date at the beginning the year. This is mostly aimed at having fun and raising funds.
