Triple Threat Dojo exceeds expectations in Brakpan

South African Kickboxing Association (SAKA) affiliates recently came together to do battle at the Great North 1 Kickboxing Championships at the Brakpan Indoor Sports Centre on Saturday, April 9 and Sunday, April 10.

Triple Threat Dojo based in Ruimsig participated at the Championships with great determination and emerged among the best.

The team had eight fighters representing them, with three of them fighting for the first time and exceeding their own expectations with 13 fight wins in total.

The wins earned the West Rand outfit six gold medals, seven silver and two bronze, while two of their fighters namely Chloe Assad and Brett Heslop were upgraded to the blue-black belt divisions as they were too good for the white-to-green belts on the day.
