Flexible in support of big dreams

Alma Mater College soon to be introduced as Ruimsig Academy High School, has been at the popular choice for those students with high-performance activities at heart.  Placing a holistic view on their future dreams in academics, high performance sport, arts to name a few.  The college ensures that these big dreams are supported and presents a true gateway to an ‘International Qualification’ or ‘Pathway’.

Flexible and non-traditional education systems enable learners to move within and across education, training, and development. Flexibility means that young people can adapt their learning pathway as they go along, to suit their interests and abilities.

One of many examples are those students striving to become high performance athletes and does so in a flexible structure which allows optimal training opportunities, without compromise to academic development. In allowing students to place emphasis on their own unique needs and participate in other high-performance activities this College has successfully placed some of its students at Top UK universities.

The college offers the world-renowned Cambridge International schooling, this flexible combination of qualifications assists students to adapt their unique pathway suitable to their place, time and dreams. Flexible Learning is a set of educational philosophies and systems, concerned with providing learners with increased choice, convenience, and personalisation.

The learning approaches are often designed using a full range of teaching and learning theories, philosophies and methods to provide students with opportunities to access information and expertise, contribute ideas and opinions, and correspond with other students and teachers.

Formally designed as a “blended” approach, with content available electronically and remotely, as well as “face-to-face” classroom.

Students must consider potential idiosyncrasies with various learning devices and adopt strategies for approaching and completing complex tasks.

The College is perfectly positioned for independent and driven students who enjoy alternative and non-traditional learning environments.

Understanding its families and their specific needs the College has partnered with Ruimsig Academy, who offers Cambridge Primary and Lower Secondary programmes.

This partnership will help place junior students in a more structured ‘traditional’ environment, in the pursuit to a specialized pathway in education.

Students can complete the Cambridge International Qualifications in Lower Secondary, IGCSE, AS & A Level, known as the gold standard level of education.
