SAPS property to go under the hammer

The auction will commence at 10:00 and rounded off at 15:00 with strict Covid-19 protocols to be observed.

The Johannesburg West Cluster at the Roodepoort Police Station will auction off various items belonging to the state on Tuesday, December 21.

The auction will commence at 10:00 and rounded off at 15:00 with strict Covid-19 protocols to be observed.

Honeydew Police Station spokesperson, Captain Balan Muthan said it will be a silent auction, which means an auctioneer will not be announcing the highest bid. Instead bids are written on a sheet of paper that is placed before or next to the item.

Bidders are reminded that the full amount for the item is payable at the auction venue immediately. No deposits will be accepted.

Only those who produce their television licences will be able to purchase television sets.

Captain Muthan said items that will be going under the hammer are police property and other items from the SAPS 13 store.
