Young talent blossoms on stage

“I’ve always enjoyed being on stage, even since I was a baby."

Crawford International Ruimsig learner Chanté Joubert was recently invited to receive an award from the National Eisteddfod Academy on Saturday, September 4.

The event was held at Curro Aurora’s Showcase Awards for Top Achievers 2020, where Chanté was awarded item winner for English Prepared Reading.

She will participate in Kids with Talent South Africa 2021 on September 25 in the Regional leg of the competition, where she will be performing two vocal items.

“I’ve always enjoyed being on stage, even since I was a baby. National Eisteddfod Academy (NEA) and Randfontein Arts and Culture Association (RACA) Eisteddfod is a fun way for me to showcase my talents and receive awards,” said Chanté.

RACA 2021 and NEA 2021 will be held towards the end of September and in October, and Chanté’s school wished her the best of luck in her vocals, speech and drama, and public speaking items she’d entered.
