Three year old taken to hospital after Hendrk Potgeiter Road minibus taxi roll over
Taxi rolls just after 14th Avenue heading toward Florida North
A three-year-old child has been taken to hospital after a minibus taxi rolled on Hendrik Potgieter Road on July 24.
Seven other passengers were also injured in the single vehicle accident, including the young child’s mother and a pregnant woman.
Paramedics arrived on scene just after 17:00 to find the minibus on it’s roof, but all the passengers had already removed themselves from the vehicle.
Fortunately, all escaped serious injury, suffering only minor to moderate injuries. After receiving treatment at the scene, the three-year-old toddler, it’s mother and the pregnant lady were transported to Rahima Moosa Mother and Child Hospital, and additional adults were transported to Helen Joseph Hospital.
Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department Metro was on the scene and the incident is under investigation.
