ProTouch young guns impress in Turkey
ProTouch’s U/23 riders Callum and Andries also finished off in third, fourth and fifth positions across the four events in the Best Young Rider competitions.
The number-one Continental Team in Africa based in Honeydew, ProTouch Continental Cycling recently participated in four UCI 1.2 races in Turkey alongside European-based and national teams.
Over 600km and more than 3 500m of vertical elevation were covered in Kayseri and Kahramanmara, Turkey.
The ProTouch team consisted of Kent Main, Rohan du Plooy, Calvin Beneke, Mitch Eliot, Gustav Basson, and Brad Gouveris, and U/23 riders Callum Ormiston, Andries Nigrini and Tiano da Silva.
All the riders had some great results finishing off with two top 10 and top 15 placings, three top 25 and two top 30 positions.
Callum and Andries also finished off in third, fourth and fifth positions across the four events in the Best Young Rider competitions.
