“The top three artists will be announced during the course of the morning from 10am to 12 noon, and the prizes will be handed over. These include cash prizes, art hampers, vouchers for accommodation at two luxurious guesthouses, and the opportunity to exhibit at Alice Art Gallery for two weeks. There is also the possibility that South African ARTIST magazine may feature artworks that they regard as worthwhile. We are hoping to get Top Billing or The Insider SA to cover the event, and it will be streamed live on Facebook,” said Susan.

Mzansi Art Gallery was established in July 2020 with the purpose of bridging the obstacles brought by Covid-19, and is administered by Susan and Sonwabe Mhletywa.

Attendance will be by invitation only, but the public at large will be able to view it on Facebook. Those wishing to attend are requested to RSVP by 20 February, as snacks will be provided. All are required to comply with the Covid-19 protocols.
