Former TKSWR deputy promoted

“My involvement in working with executives at TSKWR and learning their functioning skills will also assist me immensely in running and taking the leadership of the school forward,” he explained.

The King’s School Education Group (KEG) has promoted the former deputy principal of The King’s School West Rand (TSWR) to headmaster at its sister school in Muldersdrift.

Sean Muddiman, the charismatic and respected teacher, joined The King’s School Vineyard at the beginning of the 2021 academic year with the intent to grow the leadership of the school.
Speaking about this well-deserved opportunity, he told Northsider that he was honoured to be granted such an opportunity. “I am honoured to be able to serve at the King’s School Vineyard. It’s a wonderful small school that possesses a lot of potential. Joining the school for me will mean continuing the great job that the school has been doing, work together for the excellence in education to the glory of God,” the experienced teacher said.

Muddiman kicked off his teaching career in 1996 – making it well over two decades in the fraternity. After serving at different institutions and phases of learning, about two and a half years ago he found a home in the KEG where he oversaw the operation of the school and the extramural programmes – key investments that he will be ploughing in at the new Christian-based school.
“My involvement in working with executives at TSKWR and learning their functioning skills will also assist me immensely in running and taking the leadership of the school forward,” he explained.

As he was invested into TSKWR culture, Muddiman admitted that he will fondly miss the school for its Christian-based values, educational excellence and the wonderful and caring staff he’s left behind.

When asked about his long-term goal at the new school, the headmaster concluded by saying, “the aim is to build young men and women who can be responsible citizens of our country, and can use their God-given gifts and talents to make a difference and contribute to nation-building and assist South Africa to flourish”.
