Christmas lunch for on duty officers

“We have managed to supply a total of 48 meals to the police members on the line of duty, this is just one way we can thank them for spending the day protecting and serving us,”

The year 2020 was deemed by many to be a year of many challenges but that did not stop the Honeydew CPF from continuing their good deed of showing appreciation.

Honeydew Community Police Forum (CPF) joined forces with the local community in insuring that they uphold their standing tradition of giving lunch to the Police Officers who are on duty on Christmas Day.

“The Honeydew CPF would like to extend a huge word of thanks to all of the CPF and community members who helped to raise money for lunch for Honeydew Police Station officers who left their families at home to serve the community on Christmas Day,” said Honeydew CPF Deputy Chairman, Jon Rosenberg.

“We have managed to supply a total of 48 meals to the police members on the line of duty, this is just one way we can thank them for spending the day protecting and serving us,” said Honeydew CPF PRO, Michael Steyn.

Every year the local community helps the Honeydew CPF by making a donation towards the annual Christmas lunch so that they can thank the officers who are spending their day away from their family and loved ones.
