Golden Drifters coaches upgrade coaching qualifications

Speaking of grabbing opportunities, Dlamini recently grabbed the head coach opportunity and ran with it after the club parted ways with its previous coach.

Golden Drifters Football Club President, Proud Shoko has applauded members of his technical team for acquiring their advanced coaching certificates.

The club’s deputy president and SAB head coach, Fannie Peter Dlamini (pictured) and chief financial officer, Tshepiso Marvelous Ramavhoya attained their CAF C Coaching Diplomas after successfully completing their respective courses.

“Once again, we say congratulation to our members. We wish them all the best in their coaching careers as they grow within the club ranks, taking up any opportunity presented to them,” Shoko commended.

Speaking of grabbing opportunities, Dlamini recently grabbed the head coach opportunity and ran with it after the club parted ways with its previous coach. Dlamini was the coach of the defunct women’s team, which was forced to dissolve after the challenges of Covid-19.

Shoko added, “Dlamini and Ramavhoya have served the club with great dedication and commitment since the day they joined it. They both joined the club without any coaching qualification but today have reached C Coaching status, having achieved a D License in 2018.”

All eyes will be on both qualified coaches as soon as the SAB league players are back in action.
