Breakdown of Roodepoort Covid-19 cases per ward

The confirmed cases of Covid-19 per ward has been released. See the numbers in your area here

The Department of Health, in conjunction with the City of Johannesburg, has released a breakdown of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Region C, per ward.

The total number of confirmed cases, from 6 March to 7 July, is 3 820.

The breakdown is as follows:

  • Ward 70 (Florida, Florida Hills, Florida North, Florida Park, Florida Lake, Fleurhof, Robertville, Consolidated Main Reef Gold Mine, and Rand leases Gold Mine) – 270
  • Ward 71 (Princess AH, Witpoortjie, Grobler Park Ext, Lindhaven, and Davidsonville) –  309
  • Ward 83 (Roodekrans, Wilro Park, Helderkruin, and Breaunanda) – 144
  • Ward 84 (Manufacta, Reefhaven, Horison, Roodepoort Central, Roodepoort North, Discovery, Georgina, Hamberg, Selwyn, and Florida Lake) – 160
  • Ward 85 (Princess, Carenvale, Horison View, Ontdekkers Park, Kloofendal, Constantia Kloof, Horison Park, and Floracliffe) – 155
  • Ward 89 (Fairland, Constantia Kloof, Constantia Office Park, part of Allensnek, part of Weltevredenpark, Part of Kloofendal, and Hillfox) – 155
  • Ward 97 (Poortview A/H, Honeydew A/H, Ruimsig, Little Falls, Radiokop, Wilgeheuwel, Strubens Valley, Rietfontein, Alsef A/H, Tres Jolie A/H, Kimbuilt A/H, Haylon Hills A/H, Aanwins A/H, Harveston A/H, Uitsig, and Amorosa) – 513
