Clearwater Mall’s food stores to remain open

Pick n Pay, Woolworths, Dis-Chem and Clicks will remain open for trade, and the community is advised to make use of entrances 1, 2, 3 and 9 to access these stores.

Clearwater Mall management has acknowledged the decree by the Government to close all shopping centres in South Africa.

“We respect and support the action taken to mitigate the spread of Covid-19, and will therefore temporarily but partially close our centre, effective 27 March 2020,” said Marketing Manager, Jess Denner.

According to Clearwater Mall management, their top priority is to protect the health, safety and well-being of their store employees, customers and all personnel working in the mall.

Pick n Pay, Woolworths, Dis-Chem and Clicks will remain open for trade, and the community is advised to make use of entrances 1, 2, 3 and 9 to access these stores.

Following the 21-day lockdown announcement by President Cyril Ramaphosa, Nu Metro will be closed until further notice, and the public should follow their web page to keep updated on re-opening dates.

All the scheduled screenings have been cancelled, and ticket holders have been contacted accordingly.

“We recommend you take extra hygiene precautionary measures when visiting our centre. Additional in-centre hygiene measures have been implemented,” said Denner.
