International Tequila Festival postponed

The tickets that members of the public have already bought, will be transferred to the new International Tequila Festival date as soon as it has been confirmed.

The International Tequila Festival that was scheduled to be held at the Walter Sisulu Botanical Garden on 4 to 5 April in Roodepoort has been postponed until further notice.

In view of the increasing number of Covid-19 cases in South Africa, major events including AfrikaBurn, the International Jazz Festival, Cape Epic cycle tour and others are being cancelled as a precautionary measure against the unfortunate disaster that has the world in its grip.

Following the President’s address on 15 March, the organisers of the International Tequila Festival have decided to postpone the event to 30 and 31 January 2021. The date will be confirmed once there is clarity about the extent of the situation in South Africa.
