Learnmore Momberume kept the club's flag flying among the best when he won a gold medal and remained undefeated in his 12 kickboxing fights to date.

Kickboxers from Triple Threat dojo participated at the Great North Tournament that was held at the South African Air Force gymnasium in Pretoria on 7 and 8 March.

Five fighters from the club were placed on the podium, namely Eli Correia, Rachelle Seyfferdt, TJ Ralekgokgo, Kyle Valentine and Learnmore Momberume.

Ten-year-old Eli and 20-year-old Rachelle fought with determination and guts that saw them being awarded a well-deserved bronze medal, while 21-year-old TJ won gold and silver.

South African Champion, Kyle proved to be still among the best in the sport as his outstanding efforts secured him a silver medal.

Learnmore kept the club’s flag flying among the best when he won a gold medal and remained undefeated in his 12 kickboxing fights to date.

Coach Wade Rendall said, “I want to congratulate all the Triple Threat fighters for bringing home two gold, two silver and two bronze medals from the tournament. We as a club are extremely proud of the hard work they have put in.”

Wade and one of his instructors, Camielle Goldstone are beyond happy with the fighters’ performances, especially since it was three of the fighters’ first tournament.

“We are slowly creating champions and developing the new evolution of kickboxing,” concluded a proud coach Wade.
