Paddle tennis has been adapted from tennis and enthusiasts have been playing the sport for over a century.

It is played with a solid paddle racquet as opposed to a strung racquet; however, when compared to tennis, the court is smaller and has no doubles lanes, and the net is lower.

“The sport is fun, social and certainly easier than traditional tennis. It is a mix of tennis and squash, with the ability to return shots off the glass wall,” said marketing manager and paddle tennis addict, Bradley Sybesma.

Over 12 million people around the world play paddle tennis and it is the second-biggest sport in Spain after soccer.
