Panorama Running Club elects new committee

The big winner on the day was Dimakatso Qocha who won herself a R2 000 gift voucher from The Sweat Shop that specialises in sport shoes.

Panorama Running Club hosted their 2020 AGM and prize-giving event on Saturday, 15 February at the Education Through Soccer (ETS) Club venue in Ruimsig AH.

The club bade farewell to the outgoing 2019 committee and welcomed the new 2020 committee that will be taking Panorama Running Club to new heights.

Andrew Morrison-Young was elected as the new club chairperson, and Setumo Setumo Mohapi as the vice-chairperson, while Nokuthula Thuli Mokgele was elected as treasurer.

The club also elected Gys Oosthuizen as their club/ road captain, and Anita Raath as secretary, while Nicola Scorgie accepted doing duties for events, marketing and social media.

There was also a lucky draw and several winners went home with prizes ranging from water bottles to running accessories.

“To the 2019 committee, we thank you for all your hard work, commitment and dedication to making our club a great club to be part of. To all those who have moved on in 2020, we want to say thank you for your support, we wish you all the best. Finally, we welcome our new 2020 committee that will be taking Panorama Running Club to new heights,” said Andrew.

Panorama Running Club is one big running family. They are based at the Eagle Canyon Estate in Honeydew.
