The water polo clubs that participated in the tournament were the hosts Florida, Old Edwardians, Old Dustonians, Benoni, Coelacanths, Wahoo and Zoo Lake.

The Coelacanths players were ruthless in the water and took no prisoners. They emerged as the overall winners on the day, edging out a very tough Old Dustonians side.
