Panorama Primary School in Weltevreden Park wasted no time in welcoming their 2020 grade ones on Wednesday, 15 January.
Parents and their excited school beginners quickly lined up at the school equipped with the required stationery packs and waited to be taken to classrooms.
Grade 1 learner Khumo Molete seemed to be the most excited in her new surroundings and quickly answered with her class teachers name when asked by the Northsider.
Khumo said, “I am excited with starting school and I can’t wait to start drawing and show my teacher that I can write my name and surname.”
When the Northsider visited the grade one classrooms the new learners were settled in and ready to embark on a long journey of education.
