Police crash while patrolling in Honeydew

Two on-duty Honeydew Police officers, who were going about their day patrolling the streets of Honeydew, were involved in a car accident and were transported to hospital this morning, Tuesday, 27 August.

According to a report by VitalMed, the accident happened between Taylor and Zeiss Roads in Honeydew, causing traffic disruptions.

The spokesperson for the station, Captain Balan Muthan, confirmed the incident. “The members were patrolling the area when the accident occurred. Both members were injured and taken to hospital. At this stage, the cause of accident is under investigation,” he explained.
