According to the tracking company Cartrack, a silver Kia Cerato Koup was hijacked in the Kempton Park area by three armed gunmen on Thursday, 25 July.
BCI Security got involved in a high speed chase that ended at a complex in Rupee Street, Wilgeheuwel, where the vehicle was recovered.

BCI reported on their Facebook page that Cartrack and the police tracked and chased the hijacked vehicle all the way to Wilgeheuwel where shots were exchanged between the armed hijackers and police.
The suspects managed to get past a security guard at the complex and abandoned the vehicle.
BCI Security, police, a Cartrack helicopter and a ground crew searched for the suspects but unfortunately had no luck in locating them.
