Time Out Market in Weltevreden Park hosted its third monthly market at the Weltevreden Park Tennis Club on Saturday, 6 July.

The newly established food and craft market had the venue bustling with activities, ranging from Zulu dancers and food stalls, to craft stalls and some good music from singer, Brian Gallagher.

The market was co-founded by Thulisile Muthle and her partner, Bontle Thobejane, for the purpose of providing the community with a hangout spot that they can go to when they want to go out and spend time with friends and family.

Thulisile said, “However, we had to adjust to the demands of the community as well as the requests from the vendors who wanted to be part of the market.”

The market was officially launched in May and is staged every first Saturday of the month, from 10am to 4pm at the same venue.

The community is advised to contact 083 464 5356 or email Time Out Market at thulisilemuthle@bigdrop.joburg if they require any further information to make bookings for stalls or a food truck.
