Welties resident wins new wheels

A Weltevreden Park resident, Peter Mabe, will be enjoying the winter season chills in his hot-brand new Alfa Romeo Stelvio that he recently won at Montecasino.

Mabe played the Montecasino’s show stopping promotion which landed him in a draw to drive home in the stylish R810 000 valued SUV.

“It was very exciting to win and the car is wonderful to drive. I knew nothing about the Alfa brand before, but calling this car ‘nice’ is a big understatement. I’m discovering all the unique features and getting used to driving it, and to all the admiration it gets when I am out in it,” he reflected about owning the new car.

Although the car is not suitable for the type of job Mabe does, he said his family still enjoys having it around. “I’m a livestock farmer and this is not a normal car for farmers, but my family and I are loving it. I especially love that I don’t owe anything on it,” he said.

Mike Page, Operations Director and Complex GM of Montecasino congratulated Mabe on his magnificent win of the newest in Alfa’s incredible stable of cars. “We wish him many happy hours behind the wheel,” he said.

The Show Stopper, exclusively for slots and tables Black Rewards Cardholders, has seen 10 winners across all levels of play walking away with smiles and prizes since it launched on 1 January. The promotion featured cash prize draws at the end of January and February, and the final draw for three cash prize winners and one Alfa winner on 29 March.
