“I was driving with my friend Eleonora Del Grosso looking for new hiking spots. We turned off towards Kromdraai and a kilometre down the road I heard someone cry out ‘help me’.

I looked out the window and saw a cyclist lying on the ground bleeding out. He had been robbed,” he said in a Facebook post.

“They had shot him twice in the leg and in the back,” he added.

While many cyclists fear for their lives when going about their activities. Tsphepiso cautioned the cycling community to avoid cycling alone especially in isolated areas.
