West Rand giants set to clash soon
Roodepoort Rugby Club is set to host Randfontein Rugby Club on Saturday, 7 April at Ruimsig Stadium, in one of the West Rand's biggest rugby rivalries.
The Poorte vs Randfontein clash is always a sight to behold and is definitely a day not to be missed by West Rand rugby fans.
This year, the two sides will be locking horns at Ruimsig Stadium for the first time, in what will also be Poorte’s first match at their new home ground.
Poorte has already made a rocking start to their 2018 season by coming out unbeaten in their pre-season matches.
They will definitely put up a strong fight against Randfontein, who’ve been the kings of the derby for the last few years.
The day will be a day for spectators of all ages, owing to the amazing sponsors backing the clubs.
Apcan Security will also be providing security on the day.
If you are an avid club rugby fan, this match day is one that is not to be missed as the standard of rugby played by both clubs has improved dramatically and will undoubtedly be worth watching.
