Maragon Ruimsig hosts carnival day for foundation phase

Maragon Ruimsig's Foundation Phase felt the need to treat its learners to a bit of fun and recently held a carnival day for the learners.

Maragon Ruimsig’s Foundation Phase decided its learners needed some fun in their lives, so they set about creating a fun-filled day with captivating activities and treats.

There were many fun activities to choose from, among them the rocket, a foam pool, and three large gladiator tracks.

The learners could also paddle their way around a pool in little paddle boats, have their hair sprayed and their faces painted or even have some fun with sand art.

For all the little shopaholics, there was a variety of hair and nail accessories and jewellery on sale as well.

There were plenty of snacks and treats to keep the tummies full, with everything from popcorn and candyfloss to ice-lollies and hotdogs.

The morning also provided the moms and dads with some much-needed down time as the children whiled away the hours with their friends.

“We are tremendously grateful for the overwhelming support we received for this event. We will, as always, be donating a portion of our takings to our selected charity,” Ashleigh Bateman, Head of Maragon’s Foundation Phase said.
