Maragon learners get funky hair makeover

Maragon Primary School recently held a funky hair day in aid of those suffering from cancer.

Maragon Ruimsig believes it is important to give back to the community and the many organisations who support the less fortunate.

They did exactly that when the Maragon Moms That Care (MMTC) held a funky hair day for the pre-primary and primary schools in aid of those suffering from cancer.

The children were invited to bring R5 to have their hair sprayed all sorts of colours and many of the children decided to go for extra sprays for extra colour and creative patterns.

The children were apparently aware that the fun went a lot further than their crazy hair, crazy laughs and big smiles – they were also helping someone else.

This was proved when a little girl melted everyone’s hearts by holding out her money and saying, “Sometimes small things can help do big things”.
