Robbers get-away vehicle sought

The victims were forced to the floor and instructed to produce their valuables.

Residents have been urged to be on the lookout for a silver Volvo with the registration number BN 70 GK GP.

The vehicle has been linked to an armed business robbery which took place at a dental practice in Honey Junction in Radiokop on 7 September.

A representative from Olympus Security said the suspects committed the robbery in a space of four minutes.

The two suspects, who are still at large, walked into the dental centre pretending to seek medical attention and drew guns at the staff and demanded valuables.

Rachel Papo, the business’s receptionist told Northsider that she was busy preparing files when the men came in and pretended to book an appointment.

“The men came in like they were looking for an appointment, but we told them that we can only assist them at 9.30am,” said Papo.

Following the disapproval for the appointment, a traumatised Papo, added that men took out guns and ordered them to lie on the floor.

While lying helpless on the floor, the suspects ransacked one of the offices as they searched for items that they would get away with.
