Editor's note

It’s been exhausting, but fun

I honestly believe it brings you the most recent news.

The last few weeks have been both exhausting and exciting, and we have had incredible fun becoming part of the Northsider family.

The two journalists, Amy Ingram and Siso Naile, have been absolute stars when it comes to getting news for the paper and the website. And to top it all off, the online statistics for the Northsider look phenomenal.

I have also made contact with several people I remember from years ago. It was good seeing them again.

Although we still have to tweak the paper a bit, I honestly believe it brings you the most recent news.

Having said that, we still need your help. If you know of anybody who deserves a spot in the paper, let us know.

About two weeks ago I asked you, our loyal readers, if there was anything that you would like to read or change about the paper and our online stories. A few suggestions were emailed to me and we are going to do our utmost to keep you happy and ensure that you continue to read the Northsider.

On a different note, have you realised that it is already August? What happened to the time? It is officially the last month of winter before spring arrives on our doorstep.

In just a few short months, it will be Christmas again. My dad always said the older we get the more time flies, and I have to agree with him. In a few short months it will be summer again and I for one cannot wait to haul out my summer clothes.

I am so over winter, just like I’m over last month’s bread!

Until then, keep warm and take care of one another.

Ciao
