Neon green, pink and yellow were the colours of the day at Panorama Primary School at its annual fundraising mini walk.
Organizer and teacher, Leigh Todd said that every year the entire school becomes involved and many children place a great deal of effort into their outfits. The best dressed from each class was judged by the teachers on their outfits, until three winners from the junior and senior phases were selected.

After the best dressed competition, the school gathered on the field to begin the mini walk around the school. Todd said the children walk around a set route through the school, passing various tables where their lap sheet is stamped. They were encouraged to complete as many laps as they could within one hour.
“The children love it! They have so much fun during the walk,” said Todd.

Before the day, sponsorship forms were handed out to the walkers to collect donations for the school. Later in the year, prizes will be given to the classes and individuals who raise the most money.
