Four suspects sought by police in connection with a house burglary

RANDPARK RIDGE – A similar modus operandi was used in a Randpark Ridge house burglary.

Four suspects are being sought by Honeydew police in connection with a Randpark Ridge house burglary on 26 April.

Honeydew police spokesperson Captain Balan Muthan confirmed that a case of house burglary was being investigated at the station and officers were working around the clock to trace the suspects, who were said to have forced the front door of the house open to gain entry.

Muthan added that the suspects were apparently unarmed but managed to take a television and cash. He also mentioned that no injuries were reported.

This is the second incident of a house burglary in the Honeydew policing precinct where burglars used a similar modus operandi to gain entry to a property.

The first incident was on 20 April in Weltevreden Park where a homeowner ran into the bathroom for safety after two suspects had broken down the front door to gain entry and threatened the domestic worker before walking away with a television.
