Community cleaning up
WELTEVREDEN PARK – A cleaner Devon Valley with the help of various people coming together for this cause.
The Devon Valley Residents Association worked together to clean up their neighbourhood on 15 October.
Chairperson of the association, Fred Otto thanked all involved in the cleanup. “A special thanks to members of the Devon Valley RA committee, Rumours Lounge and staff who provided boerewors rolls and drinks for the tired cleaners after the cleanup,” he said.
Ward 126 councillor, David Brand also attended the cleanup. Pikitup sponsored the bags while Londoloza Security kept cleaners safe and Leaping Frog Properties provided water.
Residents were urged to become involved in the association to make a difference in their community.
