Cradlestone Mall was the host to about 40 different estate agents over the first week of September for the Property Expo.
“It is definitely a buyer’s market and it is a good time to invest in property. Remember, you buy an investment, you don’t sell one, therefore, you need to buy at the correct place,” said Grietjie le Roux, from 3 per cent.com Properties.
Finding the correct agency was easy. Individuals looking for a fresh start and a new home with the beginning of spring were spoilt for choice with the number of properties and areas covered. On the same note as Le Roux, Gaby Cramer, who represented Palazzo Capital, on the first day of the expo on 1 September, said, “When the rand is stable, individuals should invest in overseas property for their future and their pensions.”
In addition to the expo, Cradlestone Mall is running a competition from 1 to 30 September where shoppers can leave their receipts from any home or décor store at the Information Desk, Entrance 5, to stand a chance to win vouchers to the value of R15 000.
