GOOD NEWS: Baby girl born in Clearwater Mall bathroom
STRUBENS VALLEY – A baby girl has been born at Clearwater Mall.
A beautiful baby girl was born in a bathroom at Clearwater Mall yesterday afternoon, at approximately 3.30pm.
According to a post on the mall’s Facebook page, a nurse from the Clicks store and security guards assisted the woman during the birth of the little girl. The baby and her mother are both in good health following the birth.
The post goes on to say that the mother of the baby was so happy, that she named the little girl ‘Clear’.
According to Tanya Kruger, security admin manager at Clearwater Mall, the mother was walking into the bathroom when her water broke. The Super Care cleaners in the bathroom immediately sent a panic alert, alerting Fidelity Security to the situation. The security guards then helped to deliver the baby girl.
@Home, Boardmans and Jet stores all assisted by providing blankets.
ER24 were called to the scene, and transported the mother and baby to a nearby hospital.
