Taking education to new heights

RADIOKOP – Charterhouse pupils get an aerial perspective of things as they get a different view on education.

The Grade 7 class of Charterhouse braved heights they could only dream of on 12 April.

The brave group had an excursion all the way up to the Hartbeespoort Aerial Cableway. Armed with activity packs they explored, learned about and investigated the summit.

The class also had to complete an interesting quiz about the immediate surroundings by following a trail of information plaques.

This annual excursion is always one that the Grade 7s look forward to. After enjoying a great meal overlooking an immaculate view of Hartbeespoort Dam, 62 excited pupils descended the mountain.

The excitement continued as they boarded the bus singing beautiful songs on the way back to school. It was truly a day to remember.
