GALLERY: King’s School West Rand Matric results

POORTVIEW – The King's School West Rand achieves 100 per cent pass rate.

It was congratulations all around at The King’s School West Rand after achieving 100 per cent Matric pass rate.The pupils received a total of 55 As and 111 Bs with 29 of the 58 pupils receiving a distinction in at least one subject. A total of 98.9 per cent of pupils have qualified for tertiary studies and 87.9 per cent have qualified for degree studies.

The schools top five pupils:

Tristan-Lee Smanjak received distinctions in the following subjects: Afrikaans FAL, accounting, business studies, life orientation, mathematics and physical science.

Anika Meyer received distinctions in the following subjects: Afrikaans FAL, English, life orientation, life sciences and visual art.

Kirsten Jansen van Vuuren received distinctions in Afrikaans FAL, English, life orientation and life sciences.

Kayleigh Penniken received distinctions in Afrikaans FAL, life orientation, life sciences and mathematics.

Gomolemo Tseladimitloa received distinctions in Afrikaans FAL, business studies, life orientation and mathematics.

Principal Ken Langley congratulated each pupil on their determination, hard work and efforts throughout the year and said that these results were the best results in the history of The King’s School West Rand.
