Banele Sindane murdered in Ruimsig
RUIMSIG – Crime takes another iconic figure from SA.
Banele Sindane (60) was fatally wounded on 30 November at his home in Ruimsig.
The former South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee and Athletics SA CEO was shot and killed during an alleged burglary at his home.
Honeydew Police spokesperson Karen Jacobs confirmed the shooting and added, “The police are still investigating the scene and we cannot give out information at this moment.”
