Agape’s dance champions

WELTEVREDEN PARK – Two pupils from Agape Christian rendered an outstanding performance at hip-hop championships.

Agape Christian School pupils Amahle and Thembeka Xulu made their school proud when they recently participated at the West Rand Hip-Hop Championships.

The duo did not only take part in the competition but they also bagged medals.

Grade 2 pupil, Amahle came in second place for the U9 amateur section.

Grade 7 pupil, Thembeka received two medals, one for being selected to be a member of the Flawless Crew which is competing in a national competition in Cape Town on 12 and 13 June. Her second medal was for being selected to be part of a Hush world hip-hop crew that will be competing at the world championships in Italy in September this year. School sectretary Theresa Jennings said the school was very proud of the two sisters’ achievement.
