BRYANSTON – Ever wondered what two Lamborghinis would sound like all revved up?

Fast cars, music and pure talent mesh together in the collaboration of Morgan BeatBox and two rather expensive Lamborghinis.

In preparation for the much awaited Clarkson, Hammond and May Live (CH&M Live) event at the TicketPro Dome in North Riding, Morgan BeatBox has come on board. There was a sneak peak at the live rehearsal at Imperial Select in Bryanston on 2 June. Morgan and CH&M Live show producer Chris Hale, joined teams to bring a South African twist to the show. They have used the sounds of Lamborghinis to produce some exciting sounds.

The different engine notes of the revs and hooters are taken from the cars and are looped through Morgan’s sound system to produce a unique sound every time. The team will be using a wide range of seven Lamborghinis, some dating back 50 years. “The collaborative idea came about to bring a South African flavour with local content to the show,” said Hale.

The two cars used at the rehearsal were the Lamborghini Aventador Coupe LP 700 65L V12 (valued at R7. 5 million) and the Lamborghini Huracan Coupe LP 610.4 5.2L V10 (valued at R5.35 million). This was also brought about to celebrate the 50-year anniversary of Lamborghini.

“We have hoped to bring a younger kind of style to this show. This show, we feel, has a wide range of theatrical elements like using the Lamborghinis to create entirely new sounds,” added Hale.

Anticipation is building for the South African leg of the World Tour which is just weeks away and due to incredible demand, more tickets are now available. A fifth performance has been confirmed to take place on 12 June at 5pm giving fans every opportunity not to miss out on the action.
