The post that has been making rounds on Facebook about an alleged child snatching incident at Cradlestone Mall has been regarded as invalid.
Carey Christie who is the public relations officer for the mall said the post seems to have spread like wild fire, however, the story is invalid.
“There was an incident that took place on Sunday morning (22 March) in one of the retail stores, but was resolved between the two parties involved and seemed to be a complete misunderstanding between the two mothers,” said Christie.
She added that the photo that is being spread was taken by a member of the public, who has no connection to the parties involved. The police were also at the mall, but nothing came of it as the incident was a misunderstanding.
