Mr SA sponsored with a camera package

Mr South Africa 2014 Armand Du Plessis made an appearance at Cradlestone Mall on 5 March to receive a camera package from Dion Wired.

Du Plessis was presented with a Nikon P600 camera package.

Public relations manager at Cradlestone Mall Carey Christie was very excited by the opportunity to have someone as high profile as Du Plessis present at their facilities. “We have worked quite closely with Armand in the past. He was a great help to us during the mall’s Shavathon event last weekend,” said Christie.

“Armand has been quite actively involved in his local community. We at Cradlestone Mall are very proud of his achievements and want to support him during his year of service,” she said.

Dion Wired store manager Richard Leach said, “We are very happy to be part of the mall’s plan of appreciation toward Armand. We hope that he will be taking some inspiring photos while he serves out his duty year,” he said.

Du Plessis was very thankful for the donation.

“I am just so grateful for their support. Not only from Dion Wired, but from Cradle Stone Mall as well. Photography is also one of my hobbies and I think that this donation will come in very handy.”

Du Plessis pointed out that it is good to know that the West Rand has been supporting him in his capacity as Mr South Africa.

“I stay around the corner from Cradlestone Mall [and] I want to continue to work very closely with the mall. I think this is the start of a great partnership.”
