JAM to host and celebrate their donors

ROODEPOORT — Joint Aid Management celebrates previous accomplishments and strive to expand further.

The Joint Aid Management (JAM) SA will host their annual Donor Appreciation celebration on 24 February.

The event is aimed at showing appreciation to the donors that have continued to work with the organisation. JAM’s managing director, David Brown said it is also to showcase the achievements of 2014.

“This is to showcase the development we have made in the past year and network with our donors. We have increased our feeding numbers to more than 60 000 in 2014 from 44 000 in 2013. We will also touch on our plans and expectations for 2015.”

The organisation is looking to expand in more areas around the country and their 18 000 growth in the past year is “barely scratching the surface when you think that more than two and a half million children go to bed hungry in the country,” according to Brown.

JAM works with pre-school children under six years old in poverty stricken areas around the urban areas.
