Special Valentine’s event at Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens
POORTVIEW – Spoil your other half with a special show at the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Gardens.
Are you running out of ideas of what to do on Valentine’s Day? Well then the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Gardens might by able to help you surprise that special someone with its Valentine’s Eve Picnic Concert.
The concert is set to take place on 14 February and it will start at 7pm.
Spokesperson at the gardens Ronnie Tshabalala said, “The evening will be a special one as we will have a one of a kind performance with tenor Henry van Dyk and soprano Charlotte Killian.”
He added that it will be a picnic evening so residents can bring along their blankets and picnic baskets.
“Entry for children under 6 is free. Adults will have to pay R60 to enter and scholars will pay a bit less at R30 a ticket,” concluded Tshabalala.
