Load shedding not to blame
CONSTANTIA KLOOF – Reinten and Baisley blame faulty substation for strange power outages in area.
Strange untimely power outages in the area has caused Ward 89 councillor Ingrid Reinten and Constantia Kloof North Resident’s Association (CKN RA) to start recording incidents, as the councillor believes the area’s substation is faulty.
CKN RA chairman John Baisley explained that they suspect the substation to be faulty as most of the outages aren’t in line with Eskom’s load shedding schedule.
“We have now started recording all the outages so that we can estimate which of these are connected to the load shedding and which outages come from our faulty substation,” concluded Baisley.
