2014 SA Sports Awards – a bunch of winners
SANDTON — The annual sports awards was a humdinger of an event that celebrated our favourite sports stars.
The Sandton Convention Centre was where all the fun, glitz and glamour took place for the 2014 SA Sports Awards.
Sports people, athletes, celebrities and one popular razzmatazz all dressed to the nines for an unforgettable evening, celebrated our favourite local sports heroes.
From administrator to indigenous games of the year, no stone was left unturned in honouring the people that have played an integral part in making us a proud sporting nation.
The night may have been dominated by sport and its vast array of criteria but the entertainment part of the awards definitely did not take the backseat.
Rapper and hip-hop artist Cassper Nyovest delivered an unforgettable performance of his hit single Doc Shebeleza with yours truly, Doc Shebeleza (of course). The kwaito legend stepped on stage and got everyone on their feet with his classic hits, including Ebumnandini. The entertainment platter included a jazzy performance by multi-award winning trio The Soil, who are currently shooting the video for their hit song, Susan.
