Grade 12s receive exam revision from SABC and ‘Geleza Nathi’
METRO - Grade 12 pupils are given an opportunity to revive everything they need to know before exams.
Grade 12 exams are fast approaching and the SABC Education and Geleza Nathi are putting measures into place to prepare SA pupils.
Pupils will be given an opportunity to revise everything they need to know just before they step into exam venues.
Geleza Nathi will bring some of South Africa’s top teachers to viewers. The selected teacher will go through challenging exam questions to help pupils with last minute preparation.
SABC’s commissioning editor Hanyani Sono advises pupils to take advantage of the revision programme.
“Every morning the show provides pupils with the support needed in their subject revision in order to gain the confidence they need to pass their exams with ease.
“Pupils can send subject specific questions to Geleza Nathi’s Facebook page and have them answered during the live recording. They can also send messages of support for the Class of 2014 and stand a chance of winning prizes,” explained Sono.
He also highlighted that education is a societal responsibility, anything positive contributes toward the pass rate.
For additional educational support, pupils can chat live about difficult areas of the syllabus with some of educators on the Geleza Nathi’s Facebook page between 7pm and 8pm.
Geleza Nathi will be aired on Mondays to Fridays from 5am to 6am on SABC1.
