The Honeydew Community Police Forum Sector 2 (CPF) together with Honeydew Police will host a public meeting at Panorama Primary School, Albert Street, Weltevreden Park.
Spokesperson for Honeydew Police Warrant Officer Karen Jacobs explained that the main aim of the meeting is to discuss crime trends in the precinct.
“This is an open community meeting. Businesses, residents, private security companies and all other interested parties are invited to attend,” said Jacobs.
She highlighted that all crime-related problems community members have will also be addressed.
“Community involvement is vital in the fight against crime. It’s important for community members to be actively involved.”
The meeting will be held on 25 September, at 6.30pm for 7pm.
