A bat a day keeps young cricketer ahead

LITTLE FALLS - Young cricket player puts the might in dynamite.

Young Cricket player Jayson Pledger is showing the rest of the world that dynamite does indeed come in small packages.

Pledger has been actively involved in cricket from a young age and is now reaping the fruit of all his hard work.

“I am currently playing for a first team that consists of cricket players from Trinityhouse’s schools in Little Falls and Randpark Ridge.”

Pledger said his biggest achievement so far was when he was given the Best Cricketer Award at a recent prize giving held at the school.

“Practise makes perfect and I push myself to exercise every single day to hone my skills as a cricket player.”

Pledger is an all-round player and focuses on his batting and bowling skills.
