American rock band The Fray have confirmed two South African tour dates, performing in Johannesburg on 19 September at the Coca-Cola Dome and 20 September at the Grand Arena, Grand West, Cape Town.

The Fray is Isaac Slade, Joe King, Dave Welsh and Ben Wysocki. The Denver-based foursome band achieved national success with their first single ‘Over My Head,’ which became a top ten hit in the U.S. But the release of their second single ‘How To Save A Life’ brought them into the worldwide spotlight, going double platinum and earning a 2010 Grammy nomination.

Their latest single ‘Love Don’t Die’ off their album Helios received critical acclaim from Billboard Magazine and follows the band’s 2012 release Scars and Stories, which garnered widespread praise.

This will be the first time The Fray has performed in South Africa and fans will be treated to a concert of all their hits and more.
